Continuity and Innovation: Michael Baumgartner takes the helm of Research and Development
A familiar face in a new role: At the beginning of the year, a significant handover took place within the technical leadership of Mesutronic GmbH. Michael Baumgartner has assumed the position of Head of Research & Development (R&D) and Documentation.
Since joining Mesutronic in 2022, Michael Baumgartner has established himself as a cornerstone of our technical team. With the turn of the year, he has now succeeded Manfred Artinger. His goal is clearly defined: to lead Mesutronic into a successful and technologically pioneering future with the same passion and dedication that defines the company.
From Head of Design to Strategist for Tomorrow’s Technology
Until the end of December, Michael Baumgartner was responsible for leading our design department. During this time, he gained deep insights into our processes and our customers’ requirements. In his new role as Head of Department, his scope of responsibility is expanding significantly. He now leads the following departments:
- Development
- Design/Construction
- Systems Engineering
- Documentation
By doing so, he consolidates the entire technical creation chain of our inspection solutions under one roof.
Focus on Custom Plant Engineering and Digitalization
For Michael Baumgartner, all signs point to progress. He sees this new role primarily as an opportunity to further expand Mesutronic’s technological leadership:
